The Community Pledge

I stand as an Australian, alongside my Fellow Australians.

I recognise our shared Australian identity above the differences in our backgrounds.

I accept others with respect, regardless of their background, and I expect the same in return.

I believe in unity over division and shared identity over separation.

I understand that unity does not require uniformity and that Fellow Australians can disagree while continuing to respect one another.

I take responsibility for my words and actions and seek to contribute positively to my community.
